ASUS WL-550gE
The device driver under review shows fairly good performance of both wire and wireless connection, which is especially evident in AfterBurner mode coupled with FrameBursting option; however, the results are highly disappointing in case of these modes used in tests with ASUS WL-100gE Cardbus-adaptor. However, praxis shows that the reason for such results is Cardbus-adaptor itself (it is possible we’ve got a “faulty” sample of this wireless adaptor). Driver for wl-550ge is located here.
The traffic shaping is based on extremely narrow criteria set, however, it (shaping) is quite precise at low given rates (below ~30 Mbit/s).
